Schools: adding your students

School owners

Whether you own a school or help run one, you can register your whole roster yourself. Your students don't need a phone, an email, or a password.

From your profile, tap My School.

Don't see it? Schools are set up by NextGen. Contact us and we'll create yours and make you the owner — you can't do that part yourself.

You'll see two things: your student list, and your school's Invite Code.

There are two ways to build your roster. Pick the one that fits.

Tap Add Student to create an athlete who isn't in the system yet. Name, gender, date of birth, and belt. That's everything needed to place them in a division, so you won't have to come back later. Get the birth date right — it sets their age division.

The other way is the invite code. Give it to an athlete who already has their own account, and they enter it in their profile. They join your school without you creating anything. That's the one to use for the students who signed up on their own.

Once they're on your roster, tap any student to update their belt as they rank up, add their weight, or change their photo.

Then tap Register for Event. You choose their divisions and you pay — for one athlete or for your whole team.

If a student leaves, remove them from your roster. That does not delete their account. It only unlinks them from your school. Their profile, their record and their results stay with them, and they can join another school later.

Running the school on your own? You don't have to. If you're the owner, you can add operators — people who add students, update them and register them, exactly like you. That's T5 — Schools: sharing the work with operators.

Not a school owner but you need to register someone? If it's your own child, see T3 — Parents: adding your child. If it's yourself, see T2 — Completing your profile so you can compete.
